Dr. Phillip Thompson DC is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Auburn community.  He graduated with Suma Cum Laude from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1987.  After serving as a treating doctor in a busy established practice in Renton, Dr. Thompson opened his practice in Auburn in 1988.  He completed a three year post doctoral program in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1992 and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Othopedics (DABCO).  In 1994, he completed a second chiropractic certification program earning a CCSP, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician certification and became a Certified Chiropracted Extremity Practitioner in 2000.  He has extensive training with the McKenzie Institute USA in McKenzie Method an extremely effective form of physical therapy for disk disorders including disk herniation or protusion and many other causes of back pain.  Since then he has accumulated hundreds of hours of continuing education credit in order to keep up with new information and to improve his skills as a physician.  Starting in 1999, Dr. Thompson began his training in Active Release Technique (ART).  Currently, he is a Spine, Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, Biomechanics, Nerve Entrapment and Masters Certified ART provider, as well as an assistant instructor for the technique.  He underwent over 200 hours of training in Rehabilition (therapeutic exercise instruction) from Southern California University of Health Sciences in the chiropractic diplomate program. 

 Phillip Thompson DC has undergone this extensive traning in order to gain the additional skills beyond a chiropractic degree necessary to help the most complex and difficult cases including many orthopedic conditions.  The combination of the incredibly powerful chiropractic adjustment with the manual skills of ART and Graston Technique and therapeutic exercise instuction provides the patient with trestment options that enable most to avoid or delay the need for invasive treatment.  Dr. Thompson's skills have been freeing people from pain in his clinic in Auburn, WA for more than twenty years.  As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Thompson DC is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients.  After any injury, Dr. Thompson DC is especially concerned with getting you back to your pre-injury condition as quickly as possible.  At Thompson Chiropractic, your speedy and complete recovery is our goal.
